IFA held in Berlin is an international trade show arranged with a view to exhibit consumer electronics & home appliances. The fair is a unique place to have a look at all the latest gadgets & innovations in Europe’s heart which is also the most important regional market. All the prominent manufacturers except Apple show off their brand new products that are due for release giving the curious tech trendy mass an idea over newer trends & technologies.

At the IFA, new products from every single tech sector are presented. Smartphone’s that are to be released at a different event in February at MWC will also be shown at 2011 IFA. With the increasing number of phone manufacturers announcing their line of Smartphone products at the CES, the IFA fair will undoubtedly the best place and occasion to put forward new announcements.

For an instance, Sony Ericsson, hold a press conference on 31st August, just before the opening of the official event & 31 Samsung is all set to present a brand new Galaxy handset.

One more time, tablet PC’s are going to make the headlines in this year’s IFA. Rumors suggest that Samsung will be unveiling an 8.9-inch & 7.7-inch Galaxy Tabs whereas Sony is more likely to show the new Sony S.

Not many new models of cameras are expected in the fair, since the “Salon de la Photo” is almost there to be held in October, & some of the firms, which includes Sony, have already shown their upcoming models that will go on sale during 2011 pre-Christmas period.

Like always, TVs are one of the main highlights of this event and it’s nothing exceptional at this year’s IFA. Plenty of full LED TV’s alongside HDTV’s are to be expected in this year’s fair. No glasses 3DTV will be another of the major attractions.
For Microsoft fans, one intriguing thing that we will see at this year’s fair is Windows 8. Windows 8 is all set and ready to hit out of the labs of Microsoft. Android based phones and Windows Mobiles are also expected to create a buzz in the fair.
