Thank you for that great information. I could have used this article when I purchased my new TV last year. I went to Best Buy and purchased an open box unit. I found that it was very defective once I got it home. I returned it to the store and complained that a clearly defective TV should not have been on the floor for sale and I demanded a discounted price for a new TV in the box. I returned home with the new boxed unit and found that it wouldn’t even turn on. I again returned to Best Buy for a third new TV. After all that, I finally got the new TV I wanted, but Best Buy won’t be seeing much more of me. That hassle makes me so happy I don’t have to struggle finding a HD TV service provider. The choice was easy. I have DISH Network, my employer, for TV service. They have the most HD channels available anywhere. I also get HD service Free for Life because I have one of their best packages.

Samsung, one of several companies rolling out a line of 3D TVs, has issued a lengthy health warning for 3D viewers. Children and teenagers may be more at risk to health issues related to 3D viewing. Those with family history of epilepsy or strokes are warned that exposure to flashing lights may cause seizures.

This was a great explanation of HDTV so let me give you a few reasons why you should go with DISH Network to enhance your HDTV experience. First off you have access to more HD channels then your neighbors because they have the most HD channels in the industry and you can get up to 3 HD receivers for free. Working for DISH I can tell you they offer HD free for life and a crisp quality picture.

The article here is entitled the advantages of a 3d tv but speaks more about the differences than any particular advantage. I have a Panasonic 3d tv and really enjoy watching tv in 3d. But lets also talk about the down-side. There is very little 3d content available. Maybe a dozen movies are out in 3d. The available movies sell about $10 higher than the standard Blu-Ray version. Oh and lets not forget that 3d is only available on Blu-Ray. There is too much video information to fit on DVD. The best a DVD can do for 3d is the old blue and red lensed glasses. The glasses for these High Def 3d tv’s aren’t cheap either. Panasonic wants about $125 each. The tv comes with one pair. The manufactures were promoting sales by including a 3d Blu-Ray player and two more pairs of glasses. Which is the best way to go for a family of 2 or 3. So 3d is nice but don’t be in a rush since there’s not much out there yet to watch on it.

Those HD channels that DirecTV are lacking are one of the main reasons why I choose DISH Network over them! DISH really does have the most HD channels out there. I work and subscribe with them now, and enjoy my services fully! Ever try becoming a new customer with DirecTV? I don’t recommend it unless you like waiting 6-8 weeks after your first bill to get your new customer promotions. DISH gives you your promotions on your very first bill. It’s really a great deal!
