How to use the Sky Player?

The Sky Player allows you to watch most of the Sky TV programmes with or even without signing up with Sky. If you have a Sky TV subscription you can watch the recorded programmes for one month. Also a limited number of channels are providing live broadcasts.

Which contents does Sky Player offer online?

They offer a wide range of programms including over 500 movies, culture and Lifestyle shows. There are also shows from National Geographic, Sky sports, entertainment pack and the BBC iPlayer programmes.

If you don‘t have a Sky TV subscription you can watch a limited number of channels, programmes and movies. To watch more channels, episodes and TV programms of your choice you can subscribe to Sky TV. Rates start at GBP 15 and go up to GBP 34 for premium contents per month.

For online customers most movies are free but for premium ones they charge GBP 3 per movie rental.

What do I need to watch Sky Player?

- You need an Adobe Flash version about 6.

- Make sure you have Microsoft Silverlight 2.0 before watching TV on Sky Player

Keep in mind your bandwidth limit

Of course you need broadband speeds to watch TV online, with an reliabe speed about 2 MB or more. If your connection is to slow videos do not appear in sequence. It also helps you downloading movies within minutes.
