HDTV Trends for 2010

Did you ever think about new products that you could be shopping for this year? What do you expect to be the new products and features in 2010?

I guess the ledge would be even more influenced by the LCD HDTV technology while at the same time the attention on plasma TVs will be shrinking. But this doesn‘t mean there won‘t be a niche market for LED and plasma TVs this year at all.

For the LCD TV niche experts expect the following features to go main stream this year: LED back-lightning; 240 Hertz (Hz) refresh rates and internet connection. LCD vendors will also move over 1080p HDTV to a resoltion of 2160p.

As last year the trend of plasma and LED TVs becomming bigger in size will continue. There will also be a new necessity from the Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA) to push more 3D TVs across the LED, plasma and LCD series.

Top sum up all points mentioned before here is a short list of the trens for 2010.

1. 240Hz Refresh Rates
2. 1-5 of a mm thick
3. LCD LED
4. Bigger Plasma TVs
5. Slicker Laster TVs
6. 2160p Resolution
